The art work featured on the front of our first issue of Under Construction was kindly provided by Jacob Bettany – a UK-based Web Publisher and Fractal Artist. Fractals, while providing visually stunning digital art, are used across multiple disciplines, making these images perfectly appropriate for the interdisciplinary agenda of the journal.
The two images that appear on the cover belong to a series of fractals created by Jacob called ‘The Tree of Life,’ which marks the new beginning of this publication and its future potential and growth. The video accompanying this series can be viewed above, bringing the 3D animation to life.
